Microcosm , released in 1993 for the Amiga CD32, is a sci-fi themed shoot'em up. The story follows two mega corporations battling for control over a polluted planet. Axiom accuses CyberTech Industries of murder, and in revenge, they secretly infect their president, Anton Korsby, with a deadly virus. You play as a pilot who must enter Korsby's body to destroy the virus and defeat the controlling entity.
The gameplay involves navigating through 3D environments within the human body, battling viruses and enemy ships while collecting power-ups and upgrades. The goal is to reach the brain and stop Grey M, the organism controlling Korsby's body. Microcosm features full-motion video, high-resolution fractal graphics, digital music, and sound effects.
