Players embark on a thrilling adventure in Cabela's Trophy Bucks , navigating 24 diverse hunting hotspots across North America. The objective is to hunt down iconic species such as Whitetail Deer and Mule Deer, alongside smaller prey like rabbits and squirrels, as well as waterfowl birds like ducks and quail. A wide range of firearms, from the powerful .30-06 to pistols and shotguns, are available for hunting.
The game features 96 distinct hunting missions and 24 competitions to test players' skills. Additionally, five career hunting slams challenge players to hunt various species over a week-long period. Players can utilize authentic Cabela's gear, including tree stands, calls, and attractants, to increase their chances of success.
Real-life hunting regulations are also implemented in the game, with bag limits, designated hunting times, and restrictions on specific species. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in penalties, including level loss and game progression termination for the player.
