Michael Jackson: The Experience for the Wii is a rhythm and dance game inspired by the popular Just Dance series. Unlike most dance games, Michael Jackson: The Experience does not require any special peripherals to play.
The game is played using a single Wii Remote, which tracks the player's movements as they try to perform the on-screen dance moves in-sync with the music. The game features a training mode with video guides, four-player multiplayer, and a Career mode that spans Michael Jackson's career from the 1980s onwards.
Each stage is inspired by the song's music video and are created in 3D with live-action dancers inserted. The Wii version includes 37 songs from Michael Jackson's album repertoire, including popular tracks like "Bad", "Beat It", and "Billie Jean".
