Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games is a platform game based on the rivalry between Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog , two popular characters from Sega and Nintendo, respectively. Mario is invited to Peach's castle, but when he arrives, Peach is nowhere to be seen. He soon learns that Bowser has once again kidnapped her. The Koopa King has also put a spell on her castle, imprisoning her subjects. So it is up to Mario to break the spell and rescue Peach.
The gameplay of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games is an action-packed mix of platforming, racing, and mini-games. Players control either Mario or Sonic as they navigate through various Olympic events, such as the 100m dash, long jump, and shot put. The game features a variety of levels, each with its own unique challenges and obstacles.
Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games is available for the Wii console, which was released in November 2011.
