The game's story mode follows Ash as he travels through time, visiting four distinct eras of Dearborn to witness the events that led to the zombie apocalypse.

Gameplay involves using a variety of weapons, including chainsaws, shotguns, and pistols, as well as magical abilities such as summoning fire or possessing enemies to do your bidding.

Once you've completed a level in story mode, you can replay it in arcade mode to tackle specific challenges, such as completing the level without taking damage or killing a set number of zombies within a time limit.
