The player takes on the role as the head of a major transport company in A-Train , aiming to build up an efficient train and bus system. The goal is also to buy and sell land, build houses, and make money on the stocks market. Additionally, the game features a spectator mode, allowing players to enter one of their trains and enjoy the ride in 3D perspective.
A-Train is the international version of the Japanese PlayStation launch title A.IV. Evolution , a reworked port of Take the A-Train IV . It adds 15 new locations, a wide variety of new trains from multiple countries, updated graphics, and new music arrangements compared to its original release.
