Crash Bandicoot is a popular platformer game that follows the adventures of a marsupial named Crash Bandicoot. The story revolves around Crash's quest to defeat the evil scientist Dr. Neo Cortex, who has stolen the powerful Acorn that gives him control over the world. With the help of his sister Cranky and his friend Aku Aku, Crash must navigate through various environments and fight against Cortex's minions to retrieve the Acorn and save the world.

The gameplay of Crash Bandicoot involves controlling Crash as he runs, jumps, and spins through levels set in different worlds. The game features a variety of enemies and obstacles that players must avoid or defeat using Crash's abilities, such as his spin attack and ability to dash through walls.
