In Castlevania Legends , players take on the role of Sonia Belmont as she embarks on a journey to defeat Dracula and save the people of Transylvania. The story is one of bravery and determination, with Sonia standing strong against the forces of evil.
The gameplay in Castlevania Legends is action-packed and challenging. While Sonia can't roam freely through the stages, she can choose to explore different paths that unlock hidden areas or valuable items. She also has a special power called Burning mode, which allows her to boost her speed and attack power, making her nearly invincible for a short period of time.
The game features five levels, each with its own unique challenges and enemies. Defeating the bosses at the end of each level rewards Sonia with an orb containing a Soul weapon. There are five Soul weapons to collect, including Wind, Ice, Flame, Saint, and Magic, which can be switched between at will using a special button combination.
