Super Street Fighter IV is an updated re-release of the original Street Fighter IV. The game was originally envisioned as downloadable content (DLC) but was later released as a full game at a lower price. It includes everything from the original game along with many enhancements. New features include Team Battle mode for up to eight players, Replay Channel to watch and save replays, and Endless Battle against a rotating group of opponents.
The game also adds two new bonus states: barrel and car, which originally appeared in the Final Fight series and Street Fighter II: The World Warrior series. Owners of the original game can import costume DLC packs and receive two additional ones for free when a pack is detected.
The existing 25 characters all have a new third costume, while ten new characters are unlocked immediately in this edition. These new characters are:

Makoto
T. Hawk
All characters except for Hakan and Juri have appeared in earlier games, and each character has access to two Ultra Combos.
