Truth or Lies , Truth or Lies , is a party game for up to eight players. Each player is asked a personal question, and with the help of a microphone and voice software, the game will give a likelihood of their answer being truth or lies. Two modes are included. In normal mode, a category of question is picked, then three rounds of questions are asked; points are given for truthful answers. Games can be short (three questions per round), medium (five questions), or long (seven questions). Categories are Kids, Teens, Adults, Couples, and Families. (Adult or Couples categories can be locked using family settings.) Hot seat has the other players ask questions to a single player, with the game analyzing their answers.
The gameplay revolves around answering personal questions truthfully or lying about them. The game's software uses voice recognition technology to detect whether the answer is truthful or not, providing a likelihood score for each response. Players earn points for correct answers, and the goal is to accumulate as many points as possible within the set time limit of each round.
