Shantae: Risky's Revenge is an action-adventure game set in a fantasy world. The story follows Shantae, a half-genie thief who must defeat the evil Risky and her minions to save the kingdom of Skull Mania. Along the way, she meets new friends and allies who aid her in her quest.

The gameplay in Shantae: Risky's Revenge is fast-paced and challenging. Shantae can transform into various forms, each with its own abilities and powers. Players must navigate through levels, fighting enemies and solving puzzles to progress through the game. The combat system involves a variety of attacks and special moves, which can be upgraded and improved as the player progresses through the game.
