Lords of Thunder is a story of epic proportions set in the land of Mistral, where legend speaks of a brave knight named Drak who sealed an evil god named Deoric beneath the six continents. However, peace never lasts, as the Garuda Empire invades the lands, and Sornbul's ambitions threaten to resurrect Deoric and plunge the land into chaos.
The game follows Duran, descendant of Drak, who is on a mission to stop Sornbul at any cost. With the power of Drak's mystic armors, he battles his way through six continents, each filled with hordes of demons and one of Sornbul's Dark Generals.
Lords of Thunder is a classic Shoot'em Up game where players choose from four elemental armors before each level, each with its own bullet spread and unique bomb. The armor's attack can be powered up by finding jewels dropped by enemies, but this power also reduces the armor's health. Enemies drop crystals that can be used to buy additional items in a between-level shop.
