Bomberman Quest for the GameBoy Color is an action RPG that follows Bomberman's journey as he tries to reclaim his stolen rocket engines and monsters. After a crash landing, Bomberman discovers that all of his engines are gone and his monsters have escaped.
Players control Bomberman as he travels through four different lands, interacting with the locals to gather information and upgrades. These upgrades can be acquired by defeating monsters, allowing Bomberman to strengthen himself and tackle challenges ahead.
The game features a battle mode where two players can compete against each other using linked Game Boy Colors, adding a competitive element to the experience.
