Chicken Run , a platformer released on the Sega Dreamcast in 2000, tells the story of Tweedy's Farm where a group of chickens are struggling to keep up with their egg-laying duties. Mrs Tweedy has just started a new business, making chicken pies, and her leader, Ginger, knows that she needs a clever escape plan. When Rocky, an American flyboy, arrives on the scene, the chickens decide that their only hope is to build a flying machine.
The gameplay in Chicken Run involves collecting pieces needed for the flying machine while avoiding obstacles and enemies on Tweedy's Farm. With the help of your fellow chickens, including Ginger and Rocky, you must navigate through levels, solving puzzles and overcoming challenges to reach the final goal: freedom from the farm.
