Fire Shark takes place around a small island in the South Pacific, where you'll face off against a variety of enemies in a continuously-scrolling aerial shooter with a top-down view. Your World War II era biplane has been modified to shoot lasers and drop powerful bombs.
The game consists of ten levels, each with its own set of challenges. You'll need to navigate through the air, avoiding missiles fired by enemy planes, submarines, and other ground-based threats. In between levels, you can refuel and repair your plane on a runway, earning bonus points for any remaining bombs or collected lightning bolt icons.
Throughout each level, you'll also have access to various power-ups that will give you an edge in combat. Slow-moving blimps can be blown up to reveal hidden power-up icons, while other enemies and buildings will sometimes release their own power-ups when destroyed. These power-ups can grant you weapon upgrades or bonus points, allowing you to take down enemies more efficiently.
The game features a range of weapons at your disposal, including the bomb and the Wide Shot. As you collect power-ups, you'll be able to upgrade your weapons, increasing the number of shots per blast up to 16. The Shark Beam is a powerful green laser that fires in a spiral pattern, while the Super Fire is the strongest weapon of all, firing continuously when held.
With its unique blend of aerial combat and power-ups, Fire Shark offers a challenging and rewarding experience for players of all skill levels. Can you navigate the skies and emerge victorious?
