Bionicle: Maze of Shadows is a top-down action game set in the LEGO Bionicle universe. The game follows six playable characters - the Toe Metru - as they seek to awaken their sleeping people, the Matoran. These heroes must navigate the underground labyrinth known as the Maze of Shadows , where dangerous Rahi lurk and deadly traps and puzzles await.
The player controls each of the six Toa Metru characters, utilizing their unique special skills to overcome the challenges they face. Each character can enhance their abilities, representing different elements (ice, air, earth, fire, stone, and water). The game features multiplayer capabilities and a variety of stages to complete.
