The story begins with the kidnapping of three Vikings by an alien named Tomator, who is collecting unique life forms to display in his gallery. The three Vikings - Eric the Swift , Olaf the Stout , and Baleog the Fierce - must work together using their unique skills to defeat Tomator and the various aliens, robots, creatures, and obstacles they face.
The Lost Vikings is a side-scrolling platform puzzle game that offers a twist on traditional gameplay. Instead of controlling one character with multiple abilities, players control three different characters each with their own strengths. Eric the Swift can jump, run, and break through walls, while Olaf the Stout has a shield that can block attacks or serve as an air glider. Baleog the Fierce can shoot arrows to activate switches or kill enemies with his sword. Players must switch between these characters at will to progress through increasingly difficult levels and puzzles.
The gameplay involves switching between the three Vikings, each with their own inventory space and limited health points. Players must manage items carefully and use the Vikings' unique abilities strategically to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies.
