Battle Racers is a racing game set in the Zeo season of the popular television series Power Rangers . Players can choose from six Zeo Rangers or their enemies to compete in a head-to-head circuit challenge across 16 race courses divided into five tracks. The twist lies in each pilot's unique attribute levels for Acceleration, Speed, and Grip, which provides a more balanced competition.

The gameplay involves navigating through the courses while firing Blasters at opponents using special items reminiscent of Super Mario Kart. Players can also attack their adversaries with up to five Blasters per race, except for Cog Soldier who has an unlimited amount. The game features 1-Player modes like Race, Time Trial, and VS CPU, as well as 2-Player split-screen gameplay in Race and 2P VS.

Additionally, Battle Racers offers three alternative modalities: Point Race, where players earn points by racing over objects; Bumper Chase, where the goal is to ram opponents off the course; and Blaster Master, a Life Energy-based deathmatch. The game was released on the Super Famicom in 1995-03-17.
