Go Go Ackman 3 is an action-packed game where Tenshi, a new playable character, must clear his name after being framed by the Angel Police. The story revolves around Ackman's involvement in a complex web of events, with Tenshi trying to uncover the truth behind his arrest.

The gameplay in Go Go Ackman 3 is similar to its predecessor, although some changes have been made. Both Ackman and Tenshi share the same health meter and weapon, but they can switch between each other at certain points during levels. Additionally, souls now serve as currency in shops where Ackman can purchase temporary power-ups or healing items.

Tenshi's flying ability sets him apart from Ackman, who has lost the ability to slide enemies along the ground. However, holding a stunned enemy allows Ackman to move while still being able to attack and interact with his environment.
