Hameln no Violin Hiki , released on Super Famicom in 1995, is an action-adventure game where you play as Hamel, a wandering adventurer armed with a violin. His music has the power to inspire fear or control minds, and he uses it to defeat monsters that have invaded the town of Staccato.
The gameplay is typical platforming, but with a twist. You can use Hamel's violin to shoot musical notes at enemies, while his companion Flute assists you by following, stopping, and being thrown at enemies to attack them. Flute also collects costumes throughout the stages that grant her special abilities, such as flying or breaking through walls.
