Elf Bowling Rules
Just like real bowling, you get two chances per frame to knock lazy Elves out of the picket line and back into the workshop. Scoring follows standard rules with strikes, spares, and gutter balls, though you must watch out for deer!
Occasionally, a bunny or a frog will hop across the lane. Be warned that these Elves will do everything they can to distract, tease, and humiliate you.
When the game is over, you'll see your final score. Select Play Again to start another game or Quit to return to the title screen. Use the Control Pad to highlight your option and press the A Button.
Elves in Paradise (Ho Bowling) Overview
Welcome to the upper deck of the S.S. Kringler cruise. Santa has been challenged to a lively game of shuffleboard by his brother, Dingle Kringle, using little Elves for pucks. After three rounds of combat, a new Father Christmas will be crowned.
The goal is to hurl Elves down the deck into the score zone marked 100, 200, and 300. You can hang an Elf off the far edge of the deck to score 400 points.
You alternate four throws per round against the computer or your opponent. Scores are tallied at the end of each round, so try to knock your opponent's Elf off the board with a well-placed shot before it counts.
All Elves remaining on the board at the end of each round score points. Note that this deviates from standard shuffleboard rules.
To complicate matters, the ship rocks back and forth as displayed on the circular storm meter. This affects the direction of your throws, and the seas get rougher as rounds progress. Look for other scoring opportunities along the way.
Controls
To play, press the A Button to grab the elf. Use the Control Pad to aim your shot, then press the A Button again to shoot the elf down the shuffleboard.
Before you release the elf, note the power meter grid where boxes light up in sequence. The further away the lighted box is on the grid when you release the elf, the further it travels.
Press START if you want to pause the game and START again to resume play. When the game is over, you'll see your final score. Select Play Again to start another game or Quit to return to the title screen.
