Libble Rabble is an action-adventure game where you must navigate through a series of single-screen stages, similar to Qix. Your goal is to cut portions of the screen by moving markers around, which take the shape of arrows with a string attached between them.
The stages are filled with mushrooms and enemies, and you must complete each stage by trapping all the mushrooms in enclosed areas and cutting out the screen. Be careful, as touching an enemy will cost you a life. Some enemies can temporarily disrupt your enclosure, while treasure chests can be found and cut out to earn bonuses.
