Super Black Bass

The gameplay involves navigating a lake using the D-Pad to position the boat, accelerating with the "A" button and reversing with the "B" button. The "Y" button enters the fishing screen, where players can use the "L & R" shoulder buttons to increase the distance meter. Lure selection is done with the "X" button, while an overhead view of the location is accessed with the "B" button. Casting involves pressing the "A" button twice when the cast meter reaches a certain limit.

While fishing, players can see fish through the water and manipulate their movement using the D-Pad. A tension meter shows up when a fish is hooked, and if it hits the far right of the meter, the line will snap. The line can also be manually cut by pressing the "A+B" buttons together.

The player's attributes, Technique and Strength, can be upgraded by catching more bass. Progress can be kept through a password feature.
