Super Black Bass

The game features two screens, the boating screen where players navigate a lake using the D-Pad, acceleration with "A", reverse with "B" and fish finder on the lower part of the screen. The fishing screen can be entered by pressing the "Y" button, where players use the shoulder buttons to increase the distance meter and select lures from the "X" button.

When in the fishing screen, players can cast using the "A" button once to start the cast meter and press it again when set at a limit. They can also view their surroundings with the overhead view of the location by pressing the "B" button, and release the lure by pressing the "Y" button.

While fishing, players have an overhead top-down mode of the lake, using the "A" button to reel in their lure and D-Pad to manipulate movement. Fish are seen through the water, with bigger fish cast in a dark shadow. The line's tension is shown on a meter at the bottom, which snaps when it reaches the far right.

The game features five fish to catch and eight lures to choose from, as well as several color variations. Players can also upgrade their attributes, Technique and Strength, by catching more bass.
