No Escape is a side-scrolling action-adventure game where you play as Capt. J.T. Robbins, a war criminal on a mission to escape from Absolom Island. After being imprisoned and sent to the island, your only goal is to find a way out. To do this, you must explore the island, gather clues, items, and resources to craft weapons and traps.
The game features puzzle-solving gameplay, as you need to use the items and resources you've collected to overcome obstacles and avoid violent prisoners. You can also talk to some prisoners who may provide help, but beware of others who might attack you. The graphics are based on rotoscopes of the actual actors from the 1994 movie.
