Juka and the Monophonic Menace is an action-adventure game set in a world where powerful alchemists once harnessed the power of ancient machines. The machines were left behind after the alchemists disappeared, and the land was at peace for years. However, the last of the Dark Alchemists, The Monophonic Menace, has returned to conquer the world.
Players take on the role of Juka, an alchemist who must collect ingredients from trees, water, bushes, and other places to mix and create potions. These potions can be used as a form of defense against enemies, alter the landscape, or even activate machines. Juka also has a "Sound Staff" that can absorb and fire back different types of sounds at certain enemies.
