Barnyard is an action-adventure game based on the movie of the same name from Nickelodeon, developed by THQ.
You play as a newbie cow who must complete quests and earn respect to unlock keys that allow you to advance through the Barnyard map. Movement is controlled with the WASD or arrow keys, while the mouse adjusts the camera angle. Other keys access your inventory, confirm menu selections, and allow you to aim and squirt milk at opponents.
The game's map is large and offers plenty of activities beyond mission objectives. You can explore, break barrels, and participate in minigames such as whack-a-raccoon, bowling, and bicycle races.
As you progress, it's essential to manage your stamina, which decreases with continuous movement. Adequate rest is crucial to fight off raccoons and coyotes. Be cautious not to get caught by the Farmer standing on two feet!
