Elebits is a game where the world's elebits have vanished or gone on strike. The player takes control of Kai, a ten year old boy, who uses the Wii Remote as a zapper physics gun to find and uncover these missing elebits . By targeting objects with the wii remote , Kai earns power-ups that allow him to lift heavier objects and access new areas.

The gameplay involves navigating through various locations, including Kai's house, the street where he lives, and an amusement park, while avoiding obstacles. The player must also activate electric items in each stage to progress and reach the largest objects, which are likely to hold most elebits . With a time limit for each stage, the action moves quickly, challenging the player to stay focused.
