Dirk the Daring, a brave and somewhat goofy knight, sets out to rescue the beautiful princess Daphne from the clutches of the evil dragon Singe. The princess has been taken to a medieval castle owned by the wicked wizard Mordroc, leaving Dirk no choice but to face his fears and overcome the obstacles in the castle to save her.
Dragon's Lair 3D: Return to the Lair is an action-packed adventure game where Dirk must battle enemies, jump across platforms, and solve puzzles to reach the princess. With unrestricted character movement and a range of upgrades for health and mana points, players can explore the castle freely. Dirk also has access to a crossbow to combat foes and solve some of the challenges. Collecting Dragon Essences will grant him new abilities.
The game boasts a classic cartoon style reminiscent of the original 1983 arcade version, with familiar locations and boss enemies returning.
