The game is based on Super Monkey Ball Deluxe , a combination of Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2 for Xbox. All levels from these games are included in this collection, along with all minigames already unlocked. Formerly only available to GameCube players, the series has now been released on PS2 and Xbox after nearly three years.
The game itself plays similarly to the classic arcade game Marble Madness. You control a monkey in a ball, navigating it through many challenging labyrinths to reach the end. In previous games, you had limited lives/tries, but here you have infinite lives, making it much easier.
