The story of Basketball revolves around a one-on-one match against either the computer or another player. You're on the court, trying to outscore your opponent in a best-of-two game contest. The objective is simple: score more points than your opponent by shooting the ball into the basket.
The gameplay of Basketball is straightforward but challenging. Using the joystick, you can move your player around the court, dribble to create space, and attempt to shoot the ball into the opponent's basket. You can also try to block your opponent's shots to gain an advantage. The game is divided into two 4-minute halves, and the player with the most points at the end wins.
