Super Army War is a 2D side-scrolling shooter set in a military scenery. The player controls two different air crafts depending on the mission: a Huey or a WWII-era propeller fighter. Each vehicle has its own mechanics such as picking up troopers from the ground for the Huey, and a higher speed for the fighter. As he flies through each of the sixteen missions, the player must destroy enemy tanks, soldiers, and helicopters, and protect his own army. The goal is to take over enemy bunkers to gain credits and destroy the enemy base. As the game progresses, other weapons can be acquired.
The gameplay involves shooting enemies while navigating the air crafts through levels filled with obstacles and foes. Players must use their unique vehicle mechanics to overcome challenges and achieve objectives. With a focus on action-packed gameplay, Super Army War offers an exciting experience for players of all ages.
