NBA 2K12 took what had made NBA 2K11 successful and added some new features.

The story mode in NBA 2K12 follows the career of your player, as they progress from a rookie to a Hall-of-Famer. You'll take on the role of your player, guiding them through the ups and downs of an NBA season.

NBA 2K12 gameplay is fast-paced and action-packed, with a focus on realistic basketball movements and AI. The game features more than 1,000 new animations and post-play moves, making for a more immersive experience. You'll need to use your skills and strategy to outmaneuver opponents and lead your team to victory.

The game also includes several modes, such as the NBA's Greatest mode, which allows you to relive some of the defining moments of 15 NBA legendary players. The Create-A-Legend mode lets you guide an NBA player to Hall-of-Fame success, while the Association and My Player modes have been revamped for a more realistic experience.

NBA 2K12 features 30 classic NBA teams to unlock, as well as support for 3D display on the PlayStation 2. Released on October 4, 2011, NBA 2K12 is a must-play for any basketball fan.
