Yogi Bear: Great Balloon Blast is a puzzle game set at the 14th annual Jellystone Park Balloon Fest. Yogi has a plan to get pic-a-nic baskets by posing as a balloon salesman, but he must avoid Ranger Smith.
The gameplay revolves around rotating and releasing balloons attached to a picnic basket on a moving cloud. The objective is to clear all the balloons of the same color to pop them. However, the cloud's movement requires precise timing to guide the balloons towards their destination. Additionally, the game features boss levels where Ranger Smith appears on top of the cloud, causing obstacles and penalties for Yogi.
Throughout the game, players can earn rewards by matching balloons with arrows, which will move the cloud up. If all the balloons reach the bottom, the player loses. After completing each level, they have the option to restart or end the game.
