Hunter's Trophy 2: Europa , the sequel to Hunter's Trophy series, is a hunting game set in five environments across Europe. Players can hunt over 20 types of prey, including boars, chamois, deer, duck, fox, hare and pheasant. The gameplay involves tracking animals using a locating looking glass icon, with different icons popping up as you search for the animal to complete the tracking. The dog accompanying the hunter must follow the scent, which is indicated by red clouds. The game also features a shooting tournament for up to two players and three types of dogs, each with unique behavior.
The hunting week mode allows players to freely explore one of the five environments and combine different hunts in a single session. The game supports three types of scopes, including a traditional scope that always stays on the screen, a free cursor scope that can be moved around, and a hybrid scope that combines both options.
Hunter's Trophy 2: Europa is available for the Playstation 3 console and was released in 2007. The game features realistic hunting mechanics, including experience points to level up, shooting tournament modes, and different types of dogs to unlock. The game includes a range of activities, such as using a hunting hide, stalking, or jump shooting, all within the context of a first-person view. Players can navigate through the environment using a mini-map in the bottom left corner, with options to zoom in and stabilize their aim while holding breath.
