Surf's Up , a surfing game based on the movie of the same name, lets you play as one of ten unique characters. You'll surf through five different areas, each with two to four stages to complete. The game offers three main modes: Championship, Multiplayer, and Leaf Sliding.

The Championship mode is all about completing challenges to unlock new characters and stages. These challenges include performing tricks to reach a high score, passing through gates, and collecting red penguin statues.

In the Multiplayer mode, you can play with up to four other players, but first, you need to complete the challenges in Championship mode to unlock the stages.

The Leaf Sliding mode is a unique twist on traditional surfing. Instead of using a board, you'll surf down a volcano on a huge leaf and must reach the finishing line within a certain time limit.

Additionally, there's an Extras option that lets you view the things you've unlocked, such as art and videos.

The PlayStation 3 version comes with an Exclusive Content option, featuring additional film footage not available in other versions.
