Bomberman is back in his second game for the Nintendo Gamecube, titled Bomberman Jetters . The single-player campaign pits players against the Hige Hige Bandits, who aim to destroy Planet Bomber by crashing an artificial comet into it.
In this platforming quest, players are aided by their use of bombs and the help of Charaboms, creatures with special abilities that can aid progress. Feeding a Charabom will cause it to evolve, making it more powerful. Throughout the game, players can discover many different types of Bombs and Charaboms.
The gameplay also features classic Bomberman 4-player battles, where up to four friends can compete in blast-a-thon tournaments until only one remains. A revenge mode keeps players in the action even after defeat, with the option to re-enter the game from outside the arena and target other opponents.
With eight main battle arenas and various multiplayer options, Bomberman Jetters offers a fun and competitive experience for fans of the series. Originally released at a budget price of $19.99, Bomberman Jetters was an affordable option when it first hit the market.
