Q*bert is a popular arcade game where the goal is to change all the tiles on a pyramid to the target color. The main character, Q*bert, navigates around the pyramid, and every tile he hops on will change color. Initially, hopping on a single tile changes its color, but as levels progress, it may take multiple hops or even avoiding certain tiles to achieve the desired result.
The objective is to outsmart various creatures that roam the board, including Coily the snake, Slick and Sam, and falling balls. To escape danger, Q*bert can jump on a floating disc when the snake is nearby, causing it to fall off the board while Q*bert reaches safety at the top.
