Captain Tomaday is a 2D vertical scrolling "cute'em up" game where you control Captain Tomaday, a mutant cherry tomato with hands and feet. The main weapon at his disposal are his fists, which can be thrown at enemies.
The gameplay involves Captain Tomaday flying forward, eliminating enemies, and collecting various bonuses as he moves through the levels. He can also charge his hand-attack by using his second fist several times to increase its power.
