Romancing Saga 2

The world is once again threatened by dark forces. The memory of a long-forgotten era of peace is all that remains, as seven demons bring chaos and destruction to the land. Emperor Leon of Avalon, determined to restore balance, sets out on a perilous quest with his young son Gerard. But fate has other plans, and the emperor falls victim to a monstrous foe. Now, it's up to Gerard to carry on his father's legacy.

You'll guide the royal family of Avalon through generations, making choices that will determine the fate of their dynasty. Each time an emperor passes away, you'll need to select a worthy successor from four candidates. Your decisions to recruit party members and master new techniques will shape your progress. With five active characters at your disposal, each with unique abilities, strategy is key. Be prepared for the consequences, however - permanent party losses can be devastating.

The game was originally released in Japan, but a wider audience got their chance when it hit modern platforms in December 2021.
