Ruff 'n' Tumble follows the story of Ruff Rogers, who has lost his marbles. He must navigate 16 levels of side-scrolling action to retrieve them from enemy-infested drains.
The gameplay is fast-paced and challenging, with various machine guns and flamethrowers available for collection to aid in defeating enemies. Players can jump and duck to avoid obstacles, and fire at all angles using Ruff's gun. The goal is to collect a set quota of marbles in each level, which can be converted into coins to earn extra lives and points bonuses.
