As you sort the circuit, you must walk along the circuits to the misaligned pieces and turn them back round to the correct position. A ping sounds when it is in the correct position. You will also encounter some of Victor's bugs roaming the circuits, which you can either avoid or shoot with limited balls.

Your goal is to destroy all the bugs without touching any of them, losing one of your five lives. If you lose a life, the game will be over. There are password options after every five levels to prevent repetition and help you progress faster. You'll also have to complete the circuit within the time limit, which is counted down. Occasionally, helpful items will appear, such as extra balls, smart bombs, shields, increased speed, freeze all bugs, extra time, and stop the timer.
