Guerrilla War , a Commodore 64 action & adventure game from 1970, takes you on a mission to overthrow a dictator in Cuba. You play as one of two brave US soldiers, and your goal is to restore justice by fighting through rivers, swamps, and forests.
The gameplay involves scrolling vertically, shooting enemies, finding strategic firing points, and collecting power-ups. As enemy soldiers approach you in groups, you need to carefully pick them off using your gun or grenades. Some soldiers are carrying hostages, which can earn you bonus points if you shoot the captors instead. Each level ends with a boss fight.
