Crossed Swords is an action-packed adventure that follows the journey of a brave knight as they travel through the countryside, battling monsters and bandits with their trusty sword and shield. As the battle begins, the game's perspective shifts to a pseudo 1st-person view, allowing players to see their character's movements and enemy attacks more clearly.
The game is divided into seven chapters, each with its own unique challenges and opportunities for collectibles. Throughout the game, defeated enemies will drop money and power-ups, which can be used to upgrade the knight's equipment. Players can also choose to explore alternate paths, taking them on a different journey through the game world.
