NBA 2K10 is the next release in the NBA 2K series, expanding previous game modes, bringing roster updates, and adding online-linked features meant to add more realism to the game. The new game promises to take players on a journey through their basketball career, as they rise from an undrafted rookie to becoming a legendary player.

The gameplay is designed to be as realistic as possible, with improved controls for dribbling and defense, a new stamina system, and 24 active play calls. Players can also form online crews and play pick-up games that don't affect their character's schedule, but still result in experience points. With the ability to save progress in the middle of a game and return to it later, players can pick up where they left off whenever they want.

NBA 2K10 is available for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) and was released on October 15, 2009.
