Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis is a party game based on a famous French comedy film of the same title. All the fun of the story rests on the stereotypes of the inhabitants of northern France. A postman from the south of France gets a disciplinary action and now has to deliver mail to the north, discovering their accent and language, stinking cheese, and cold weather. The game takes place on a board which depicts the famous places from the film.
The game supports up to 4 players. Players throw dice and travel through the case board to be the first postman to deliver their mail letters and win the party. Some cases give letters to the inhabitants or open quizzes about the film, while others give letters to other players of your choice or to you, or open mini-games to challenge other players: the winner of mini-games gives letters to losers.
The pawns are represented by the two main actors of the film, Dany Boon and Kad Merad. In sound ambiance, you can recognize replies heard in the film.
Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis was released on 19th November 2008 for the Wii console.
