Demon World Structure
The demon world consists of 7 stages, each divided into several areas. In places with two 'Torii' gates, the area entered depends on which gate you choose. You must jump to clear the 'Torii' to select your path.
Stage 1: Demon World Approach
Keisei descends to the demon world on Emperor Tenkai's command. It is a hell where ghostly fire dances and white bones of fallen warriors roam. Keisei rushes to Demon Japan, but a skeleton swordsman wielding a strong sword stands in his way. How will Keisei overcome this first major hurdle?
Stage 2: Nine Flame Mountain Prefecture
The Nine Flame Mountain Prefecture is a land of swirling fire. You must withstand monster attacks while being careful of intensely flowing rock-erosion streams and the raging sea of flames beneath footholds. The form of the Demon God towers in the direction of the flames.
Stage 3: Sand and Spring Prefecture
This is the branching point of the demon world, divided into the Sand Hell and Poison Hell. Whichever path Keisei chooses, a harsh battle awaits. At the convergence point of the hells is Minamoto no Yoshitsune, whose agile movements and sharp blade will torment Keisei.
Stage 4: Kyoto Prison
In a place of blizzards and extreme cold, footholds are not what one would hope for. Waiting for Sosei, who finally reached the shrine after much effort, is an oni princess with a beautiful form that one could not believe was a demon.
Stage 5: Sessen Province
Deep within the mountains, far beyond where any human figures can be seen, enemies lurk. Ninja creep up silently, and packs of beasts bare their fangs. The showdown with Miya Akinaka, master of the Fire Ox, is approaching.
Stage 6: Kikan Hachishu
All the hells attack more fiercely than ever before. Even if you overcome them, you must defeat Musashi Boshi Benkei to open the path to Kamakura. Can Keimune at last defeat the peerless hero who wields an enormous long sword?
Stage 7: Kamakura Tsuru
Yoritomo.
