Founded in London, the studio specialized in porting popular arcade and console games to handheld platforms like the Game Boy. Their early portfolio includes titles such as R-Type, Castelian, and Spider-Man. Over its lifespan, the company developed games for various platforms before being acquired and eventually closed in 2008.
Established in 1990 by Foo Katan, the developer initially built its reputation by delivering technically demanding ports under tight deadlines for major publishers like Acclaim and Nintendo. Beyond early handheld conversions, the studio expanded into original 16-bit console development, producing action titles such as
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) and
Wolverine: Adamantium Rage (1994).
During the fifth and sixth console generations, the team transitioned to 3D game design. They developed
Die Hard Trilogy 2: Viva Las Vegas (2000) for the PlayStation and PC, followed by the multi-platform action-adventure game
Constantine (2005), based on the Warner Bros. film.
In 2002, the company was acquired by Play It Interactive, a subsidiary of Titus Interactive. Following the financial collapse of its parent company, the studio's development operations ceased, and its intellectual properties and assets were sold off to various publishers before the entity was formally dissolved.
