R-Type II

Defeating the POWER armor yields six types of units that allow the R-9 ship to power up. Picking up a laser unit specifically creates a weapon called the 'Force'.

The Force is invincible and can attack enemies by ramming them. It merges with the Commander craft at the point of separation via the designated button.

Specific units grant abilities such as firing reflecting, anti-air, or ground-attack lasers, launching auto-tracking missiles, increasing speed, or providing support via a 'Bit' unit.

Collecting additional laser units causes the Force to grow and increases its attack power upon separation. With two units it fires beams in two forward directions, while three or more units allow firing in four directions: left, right, up, and down.

Reflecting lasers bounce off enemy projectiles, anti-air lasers target the strongest enemy in a straight line, and ground-attack lasers fire in four directions based on their status.

Entering a password at a clear point allows continuing with current equipment and score. Holding SELECT and pressing RUN calls up the password entry screen to continue or start the second round.

Moves around as an obstacle. It does not attack, but is hard to dodge.

The parts that glow pink are weak points.

Undestructible. Moves along the edge of the screen. You have no choice but to watch carefully and dodge.

Appears from the ground and shoots eggs.

If you hit the head, the whole body falls apart and scatters.

Approaches while adjusting its height.

Fires a wave cannon.

Head is a weak point.

Attacks in a group.

Moves along the floor, and Heli appears from above on the left and right.

Many Tacos are scattered on the left and right, but the main body is the red light part in the center. Shoot this with a beam.

Two enemies appear at the same time. The Yasyu on the right is the main body, the other two are satellites. The weak point of the main body is hidden by the satellites.

It is covered in poison, so do not touch it directly; attack from a distance.

Hides inside the pipes. Wait for the turret to appear and then attack. The weak point of the turret is the glowing part.
