Vanguard

As you navigate through the zones, you may encounter energy pods marked with an 'E'. Flying through these makes your ship temporarily invincible to the deadly cave walls and enemies. Your spaceship is equipped with lasers to help destroy enemies, but firing slows down your speed. Keep an eye on your fuel gauge; it depletes rapidly, and running out will cause your ship to crash. Fuel is gained by destroying enemies, so focus on taking them down. The game repeats at a more difficult skill level once you defeat Gond.
